Certificate Programs
If you have a university degree, a TOEFL score
of 550 paper/80 iBT or above, and a desire to pursue advanced studies,
you can enroll in a UCSC Extension certificate program. UCSC Extension
offers a number of programs for professional development, taught
by experts in the field. Courses are conveniently scheduled evenings
and weekends.
Completing a certificate program can take
from 6 to 15 months, depending on a variety of factors, including
course sequencing and demand. All international students must pay
a services fee before beginning the program. Actual certificate
program costs vary based on individual courses within the program.
Students must enroll in 12 credits in order to maintain full-time
student status. Access to a car may be necessary as most classes
are held at our Silicon Valley campuses and public transportation
there is limited.
